ASET-NSW Membership
Membership of ASET-NSW is open to science laboratory technical staff in all levels as well as all sectors of educational institutions in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory. For example, laboratory technicians, aides, assistants and managers from the state, Catholic and independent school sectors, as well as tertiary and TAFE institutions.

Cost of membership
Membership costs just $50 per year!
We use the
Currinda Events Management Portal to manage memberships, so:
- Click on the red button below and create a new Currinda profile (LHS of the screen).
- Fill in the required details.
- Pay via credit card or direct deposit.
- Please email
treasurer@asetnsw.org.au if you need an invoice with a purchase order number.
Renew your membership!
You will be sent an annual reminder email to renew your membership.
Check your membership details or renew your membership anytime:
- Click on the blue button below and log into your Currinda profile (RHS of the screen).
- Use 'Forgotten password?', if needed.
- Follow the instructions in the Currinda portal to renew your membership.
Terms and conditions of membership
By applying for or renewing membership of ASET-NSW Inc, you agree to the following Membership Terms and Conditions.
1. Eligibility for Membership
Membership of ASET-NSW is available to individuals who:
- are currently working as laboratory personnel in science education;
- have paid the applicable annual membership fee
2. Membership Fees
- Membership fees are payable annually.
- Members who have not paid their membership fees within three months of the due date will cease to be members.
- Membership fees may be paid by the individual member (and may be tax deductible), or by their employing school.
- Membership is personal and non-transferable, regardless of who pays the membership fee. A membership paid for by a school cannot be transferred to another individual.
- Membership belongs to the individual member and remains with them if they change schools or employers.
Agreement to These Terms
By submitting a membership application or renewing membership, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to comply with these Membership Terms and Conditions and the ASET-NSW Inc Constitution.
